The magic of colour indeed! All is energy, all is colour. Colour is healing.
As you may know I am a colour therapist, crystal healer and colour aromatherapist and also work very much with angels. I’ve recently updated my course ~ Rainbow Thread Energy Healer ~ to include a module on sound and colour, for sound is colour too! With sound and music in mind, I had an image come to mind of a musical stave but saw it in colours instead, which triggered the image for this blog.
Shown in the picture are ~
Red and Cedarwood (also holds orange and yellow) and Red Jasper
Orange and Neroli (and also holds some yellow) and Carnelian
Yellow and Vetivert and Citrine
Green and Palmarosa (also holds some pink) and Jade
Blue and Camomile and Lapis Lazuli
Indigo and Tea Tree and Dumortierite
Violet and Frankincense (also holds the gold ray) and Amethyst
As you can see the oils often contain more than one colour but it may contain a dominant one.
Besides working alongside these it is also possible to bring in specific Archangels and their energy and, also use sound, be it through ‘toning’ or ‘chanting’ with one’s own voice or the use of instruments such as singing bowls and tuning forks.
Think just how gentle but powerful each form of healing is, but join it together…… Simply amazing!
I’m feeling pretty excited about sound and I’m quite surprised it didn’t enter my head before, but it’s something I’ve been guided to and now I need to become more confident in the healing tones of my own voice!! It’s been a few years since I was in the school choir ~ I only hope the glasses in the dresser can take it! And my dog’s ears!! The howling may commence….
I should explain that each colour, each chakra corresponds with a particular frequency and indeed, we all have a soul note and colour too, that particularly resonates with us. This can be discovered through a bit of simple numerology. It that floats your boat ~ just ask.
So notes and colours ~
Due to the dark colours in my drawing you cannot see the blue indigo and violet frequencies but I can tell you that they are Blue and 751 Hz ~ Indigo 852Hz and Violet 963 Hz. These frequencies or tones are known as Solfeggio and date back to the 11th century.
Did you know that do re mi comes from a Latin hymn to John the Baptist ~ well it does! The names of the notes come from the first verse of the hymn “Ut Queant Laxis”
UT (DO) queant laxis, REsonare fibris
MIra gestorum, FAmuli tuorum
SOLve (SO) pollute, LAbii reatum
Sancte Iohannes (which is SI or Ti)
Translated, this means ~
O for your spirit, Holy John to chasten
Lips sin-polluted, fettered tongues to loosen
So by your children might your deeds of wonder
Meetly be chanted
The frequencies themselves are generated from the Bible, from the book of Number Ch7, using a Pythagorean based algorithm. I’ll admit to being a bit blown away as I researched sound and colour. Colour and it’s healing is truly magical!!
