So many have lost their connection with nature. The way in which we live, the way we’ve been taught that have left us feeling and believing that we are separate from our surroundings. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nature is nurturing and nature also needs nurturing. Whilst this page is intended to be informative it isn’t intended to turn you into an eco warrior, but if it does, then so much the better!
Think carefully here. How much of life has consisted of getting up, going to work, perhaps a little socialising or sitting in front of the tv, then going to bed. Days off consist of chores and shopping, quite often for things not truly needed, and yet, somehow one feels empty. Something is missing. The thing that is missing is connection. Connection with nature and also with one’s spiritual side and yes, we all have a spiritual side. Fight that if you wish but it’s true nonetheless.
When was the last time you went for a walk, really looked at a flower or a tree? Ok, perhaps when you’ve been lockdowned or are still locked down. If you started to walk in nature a bit more then keep it up, build upon it. Not only does it help to empty the mind of all the worrying, anxiety, fears it calms, balances the emotions, the mind, is good physically too, as well as spiritually of course. Put into two words….. NATURE HEALS.
I can almost hear some saying, but I live in an apartment block, in the middle of a city but, you can still connect. Yes, a big green open space is wonderful, but you can still connect through images, meditations, a house plant, even a bunch of flowers.
In centuries past, humans lived with nature and respected nature. Taking only what needed and giving back in return. Spiritual life and beliefs were all about nature, the elements, the animals. Labelled of course as druidism, or paganism or other labels, it is belief or a recognition that we are nature, we are connected. All is nature. We all, humans, trees, flowers and animals, all have a life cycle and at some point are returned to the Earth. It is time to reconnect and honour the cycles of life and the Earth herself. Nature has her own messages of guidance as well as being healing. This is shown through, colour, number, shape and each things own particular vibration.
This page is just a ittle overview and it is intended that information be added both here, over time, and through the blog page. Subjects will cover trees, flowers, animals, sacred geometry within nature, spiritual practices, meditations, artwork, crystals and so much more. Do pop back to catch up and do check out the blog page if you will.
Here’s to a journey through and with nature and to the path of peace, balance and harmony both within self but with all things.
