It’s been some time since I have written any posts or articles around the oracle cards but yesterday I was guided to the Divine Feminine oracle cards – and boy is divine feminine needed right now. How fitting it was that Sekhmet came forward at this time! With the Blue (full) Moon came the Lunar Energies of Divine Feminine and here we have Sekhmet with solar energies of Divine Feminine.
In the world of social media there appears to be much fear, anger and frustration around that which is occuring in our lives and, a feeling of powerlessness and of disempowerment, and perhaps at times some apathy. Sekhmet comes with the message that to use your fears or fear in a positive was is the strong way to harness what you may be feeling right now. You are and I am much stronger than we give ourselves credit for. Rather than bottling up how you feel, of trying to suppress what you feel, do not be afraid to use your voice. Use it, in a positive and loving way, not in unleashed anger or anything physical, but to rise up in your own power, to honour your own power and to use any underlying feelings of aggression in a positive way, for you, for all . The cat hasn’t got your tongue! Allow the Divine Feminine within you to get to work – it is Divine Feminine that has the power to bring about the changes much needed.
Work too, with the colour Red – wear it, meditate upon it and let it fire up passion in a positive way, of stimulating and energising you and more importantly, to assist in giving you staying power when the going gets tough. Determination at this time is also a much needed thing. I would add, that it may be wise to balance too much red by working with some Blue. Blue will assist in calming but also of helping you to give voice, you have much power in your voice and in your choice of words in order to speak the truth. Too much Red, may lead to violence, an over-heating of the situation. So, yes Red but with my colour healer hat on, use some Blue too. The perfect crystal tool for this I feel is Blue Kyanite.
The crystal within the image is Ruby. A protective stone but it also motivates and gives courage. It is said the colour of the Ruby will darken if one is threatened. Best not to work with Ruby though, if feeling particularly irritable at the time.
The message from Sekhmet then is that now is not a time to withdraw, or cower in fear, or to do nothing. Time to act in a positive way in whichever way feels best for you. A way that is better for you and for the collective.
